fluorescent labelling of proteins for use in vivo

Dear Flow'ers,

I have been asked about choosing a fluorescent labelling kit to identify
cells that have taken up or internalised the labelled protein after in vivo
administration.
I was wondering if anyone has used Quantum dots "Innovator" kits for this
purpose. Also, any info regarding Molecular Probes' Alexa488 versus
Alexa647 protein labelling kits would be greatly appreciated.

Many thanks,
Andy
