Hello all...

We have some surplus laser equipment available free to investigators at the NIH only...

Coherent I-302C krypton-ion laser. The 5W version, is about 5 years old and was retubed about 2 years ago.  Due for an alignment by a service engineer (beyond the usual vertical/horizontal peaking) but was otherwise fine when it was shut down about 4 weeks ago.  We also have all the optics to produce ultraviolet, violet, green, yellow and red lines.

Neslab chiller/heat exchangers.  We have two Neslab System III heat exchangers, suitable for ion laser cooling.  These exchangers require a chilled water source for heat exchange.  They are also about 5 years old but work great.

First come, first serve.  If  no one claims this stuff, it will be surplused.

Take care,

Bill
