THE JOHN CURTIN SCHOOL OF MEDICAL RESEARCH AUSTRALIAN NATIONAL UNIVERSITY MICROSCOPY AND CYTOMETRY RESOURCE FACILITY FLOW CYTOMETRY OFFICER/SPECIALIST A position is available for an enthusiastic person to work in the John Curtin School of Medical Research in Canberra, Australia. The School is a leading contributor to biomedical research including bioinformatics, functional genomics, immunity, neuroscience and structural biology, understanding of diseases such as cancer, HIV/AIDS, diabetes, asthma and high blood pressure. At ANU08 level, the position involves management of the Flow Cytometry Lab including operation, maintenance and upgrading of FACS instrumentation, development and implementation of new technology, consultation with investigators, involvement in research projects and training and supervision of staff. For appointment at this level, the successful applicant will have extensive experience in flow cytometry in a biomedical research environment. For ANU06/7 appointment, the applicant should have relevant experience in flow cytometry. The level of appointment will be made based on experience as described in the selection criteria.
