FACS Aria compatible software

Greetings,

We have a FACS Aria with Diva 3.0 software. We are still waiting for the
4.0 upgrade. Several of our investigators are wanting to do overlays for
presentations.	We are looking to see what other software programs (FlowJo,
Cellquest, etc.) are being used that is the most compatible with data from
the Diva software. We are experiencing problems exporting experiments and
FCS files with the Diva software. We are also considering setting up a 2nd
PC with the Diva software for investigators to work with their data away
from the machine to free it up for others. I know it is not possible on
3.0, but wondered if anyone with the 4.0 upgrade has been able to do this.

Another issue we are trying to resolve is backup. When we tried to backup
our data to our netwrok drive, it crashed the drive, and I was not very
popular for awhile. We are now considering adding an external drive to our
HP just for back up. Has anyone else done this with any success?

I would appreciate any input.
