Hi all, I am sorting a very small population of cells (about 500) for someone in my lab. She wants to generate RNA from the sorted cells. Does anyone have any technical advice regarding generating RNA from a very small population of sorted cells....what kit did you use? Also what settings should you use to increase the concentration of sorted cells (i.e. minimise the sheath fluid accompanying positive sorted cells in the side stream)?
