We have used the Lyse wash assistant for over a year and the SPA for almost a year. Never any problems with cell loss with the LWA. It's the flow operators' best friend. The SPA uses lots of reagents, you have to be careful and try to dilute antibodies to make it worthwhile. The SPA is a little slow, but it works really well with our biohazard samples. You can also fudge the software to omit the mixing step and use it with open tube samples. I would recommend both units. If so, have there been any significant problems, such as loss of sample, staining issues and the like? Also, any thoughts on the BD Lyse Wash Assistant? Many thanks, Lawrence Lawrence R.
