Fixative for Fura-2 (etc)-loaded lymphocytes?

('binary' encoding is not supported, stored as-is) We wish to use one batch of fixed ionomycin-treated lymphocytes loaded with Ca- sensitive dye as a positive/reference standard that we can repeatedly go back to day after day (and century after century?). We're in fact using Fura-2, but I guess my questions would apply also to Flowers out there who use Indo-1 or Fluo-3/4. Anyone got any tips for a suitable fixative post-loading and post-ionomycin? How stable could we expect the fluorescence to be? Dr Simon V.
