Hi Cris, Actually, I wanted to run this applet on an offline laptop for educational purposes, and had our Web/Java savvy IT guy look into it. His conclusion: won't work easily. There's a whole series of data files the Java app pulls down as needed. Maybe B-D will release a standalone version one day, with more fluors listed and capable of displaying more filters/spectra at once? Maybe that will happen sooner if we all ask Joe nicely? I'm not a very good hacker and I can't seem to get a local copy to which I can add ex/em text files as I acquire them, so I use Microsoft Excel for simple graphs. Does anyone know of a server or repository of these precious text files that anyone (or at least someone willing to share them) can access? Should this be something that we start ourselves? Perhaps add to a future CD issue? -Cris ----------------------------------------------------------------------- THIS E-MAIL MESSAGE IS INTENDED ONLY FOR THE USE OF THE INDIVIDUAL OR ENTITY TO WHICH IT IS ADDRESSED AND MAY CONTAIN INFORMATION THAT IS PRIVILEGED, CONFIDENTIAL AND EXEMPT FROM DISCLOSURE.
