zenon labels vs fab conjugates

I wanted to ask if anybody has directly compared the same zenon conjugate
with the equivalent fab-alexa conjugate (non Zenon trademarked) offered by
Probes? I have used many of the zenon colors up and down the spectrum and
have been satisfied with their performance both on flow and on confocal. But
in comparing the cost of a 250ul of a 0.2mg/ml zenon fab fragment with a
250ul of a 2mg/ml fab conjugate, the differences can sometimes be several
hundred dollars so I begin to wonder just how different they are at labeling
efficiencies.

So my question is, if anybody has made the direct comparisons between the
same colored labeled fab fragment and its zenon equivalent for both surface
stains, and in particular for internal stains (both flow cytometry and
imaging).

Thanks
