Hi Folks, I am trying to characterize mouse lung and spleen dendritic cells(DCs) by flow cytometry by using markers CD11c, CD11b, CD8a, MHC II and B220. However I am unable to distinguish this population from macrophages. I would like to know if there is any way in which I can clearly distinguish the two populations by flow cytometry. Is there a unique DC marker which can be used? I would appreciate any help in this regard. Thank you all in advance. Arpita.
