Coulter FC500 versus BD FACSCalibur

Has anyone had a chance to compare the BD FACSCalibur to the Coulter FC500? A clinical lab I will be joining next year is interested in acquiring new instruments for four color immunophenotyping of leukemias and lymphomas, possibly adding other applications latter such as testing for PNH, fetal hemoglobin, and platelet antibodies. I am concerned as I have heard from one lab director who formerly used the BD FACSCalibur that there were problems with the software for the Coulter FC500 and that some of the applications for it were not yet approved for clinical testing. In addition, at least one other person has said that Coulter will not sell customized combinations as ASR. However, the Coulter corporation says otherwise. Would anyone be willing to offer their opinion on these two platforms?	Any help is most appreciated.
