Coulter XL - FlowJo question

Hi y'all,
Currently I use FlowJo to do offline analysis of data acquired on a
Coulter XL running "System II". I am more accustomed to BD equipment
though. Files acquired on a BD system (Cellquest) have their sample
description ("sample ID") recorded under the "Title" field in the FCS
file. The contents of the "Title" field automatically appears under the
sample's "Name" column in FlowJo.
Files acquired under the XL's "System II" have their sample
description recorded under the "#SRC" field. The "Title" field contains
something not very useful such as "Z0015266.LMD" (ie same as the actual
File name on the disk). I know you can add a "#SRC" column to your
FlowJo workspace, but (1) a given sample name can be assigned to any
#SRC you want, which could lead to errors, and (2) the titles of the
FlowJo graph windows will display the XL's cryptic "Z...LMD" sample
names anyway.
Question:
Is there any way to have the detailed sample description in Coulter XL
files mapped to the FCS "Title" field instead of the "#SRC" header?
.that is without having to manually edit the FCS files one by one?
Thanks for any help!
Karim
