Colleagues: Welcome to 2004. Thanks to the 553 people who have taken the "Future of Cytometry" survey - it will remain open for another week or so. http://tinyurl.com/yq17 if you are interested. Now: If you are not a core/facility manager/director HIT THE DELETE KEY NOW! For core manager - please go to http://tinyurl.com/2r5p5 and tell us about your core. Based on pre-survey feedback we decided to make this survey ANONOMOUS....we want real data - no fudging. BUT to allow us to do something serious, we need to know contact info - so at the end of the survey, you will be sent to a special webpage - click on the link and you will be taken to a completely new survey where we ask you for your name and contact info. This way, your information is protected. We do want your contact info and if you give it, you can expect that we will contact you later as we try to create something that is a significant step forward in dealing with this complex issue of core/facility management. I cannot stress how important this contact information is. Core managers are a powerful group but we are only powerful when we stand together and we know what others are doing. I assure you that you will benefit from the results of this survey. I am in the process of writing some documents that I think will be of value to all of those who struggle with keeping quality facilities afloat!!! More on that later. Of course, if you have comments to improve these surveys, please send them to me. best wishes J.Paul Robinson Purdue University J.Paul Robinson, PhD PH:(765)4940757 Professor of Immunopharmacology Professor of Biomedical Engineering Purdue University FAX:(765)4940517 EMAIL:jpr@flowcyt.cyto.purdue.edu WEB: http://www.cyto.purdue.eduReceived on Sat Jan 10 16:58:00 2004
