Hi, Christie. We've run into the same issues here. The BD party line is
that DiVa software wasn't designed for analysis so there are no
presentation utilities/functionality therein. This is the workaround we
came up with. 9 easy steps:

1. Make the windows in DiVa on the left as small as possible and drag the
worksheet over as far left as possible. This just makes the screen
capture image (step 2) smaller and easier to work with.
2. Press the "Print Screen" button on the keyboard. This copies an image
of the screen to the clipboard.
3. Open Paint, usually under Accessories, and paste. If it says you need
to enlarge the bitmap, say OK.
4. Use Paint to crop the actual images (ie histogram or dot plot) and save
as bitmap or jpeg. Make sure to give a descriptive name for ease of use
later!
5. If Powerpoint does not reside on the PC attached to your DiVa, transfer
the .bmp or .jpg files to a computer that does.
6. Open Powerpoint and choose the Import Image function.
7. Choose the image of interest to import.
8. Wipe sweat from brow. Discard any hair residing in your clenched
fists.
9. Repeat as necessary...especially step 8.

Make sure that you get the picture looking the way you want in paint,
before importing into Powerpoint. Crop as cleanly as possible. You can
also adjust colors or flip the image upside down if you see fit.

Good luck,

Dave

	Subject:	FACSConvert for PC???

I have used FACSConvert many times to convert CellQuest images into images
in Powerpoint.
I am looking to do the same thing with the DiVa software on the PC.
However, when I try to simply
cut and paste a graph from DiVa into Powerpoint, it says that Drag N Drop
is not supported or
something to that effect. Does anyone know of a program similar to
FACSConvert for Macs which
would allow me to do this, or does anyone know of a different approach I
can use to do this???

Thanks!
