Hi All, If I understand correctly, BD is trying to replace the MAS with the new HTS system. The HTS is a separate unit that can be attached to the Calibur when used while the user will need to remove it in order to switch back to the "tube" mode. I believe one of the major selling points about HTS is that the average time per 96 well plate acquisition is 15-20 min.(to be determined by individual user) while the MAS averages 45-60 min. per plate. The mechanism of action is also different between the 2 units where the HTS is similar to Guava unit.
