Advise for apoptosis

To whom,
We ask for any advise about some problems with detection of apoptosis in  sperm. We used
annexin V-FITC detection kit from Molecular Probes, but hadn't have any labeling. We read
in some articles about using  kit from Roche, but the others scientists used kits from
different companies. We wonder what is the difference beetwen those kits. Also we noticed
that they have used for washing sperm EGTA/Hepes, but the companies propose in their
staining procedure the PBS buffer. Is it very important which buffer we will use?.
Is it possible to use this procedure to detect apoptosis in  blastocysts?.
