Dr. Barton, We've used Annexin V conjugated to phycoerythrin (PE), along with 7-amino- actinomycin D (7-AAD) as a viability marker. Both fluorochromes are com- patible with a 488 nm excitation source and EGFP. I believe we used the "Annexin V : PE Apoptosis Detection Kit I", Cat. No. 559762, from BD Pharmingen -- which includes Annexin V-PE, 7-AAD, and Annexin V binding buffer -- but these reagents may be available from other vendors. Good luck, Eric >Hello Flow-ers, > >I need a fluorochrome-conjugated to annexin V to check out my >transfectants, which have EGFP. I have only a 488 laser.
