Cadmium Selenide crystals

Dear Flow-ers,

Has any of you heard about the Cadmium Selenide fluorescent crystals recently? I
mean products like Biocrystal's (www.biocrystal.com) BioPixel or other promising
fluorescent labels of that kind. BioCrystal does not return phone calls and
e-mails go unanswered.

Has the fluorescent crystal technology failed? Does anyone know anything?
