Last week we had a transformer melt and lost power throughout most of the building. As good luck would have it, the MoFlo and other cytometer were both off, but neither are on a emergency power circuit. I am wondering what kinds of protective measures other people have in place for dealing with spikes, mini surges, and catastrophic power loss. I know that even if the equipment were on emergency back-up, there would be a 'Bump', during the momentary delay while the generators started.
