If you look for crypto and flow cytometry you can find at least 20 references and I think you should select some. I have worked with flow for crypto, briefly. One thing I noticed was that we can make at least 1:20 dilution of the monoclonal anti-crypto/giardia and still get a great definition on FSC x FL1 graphs. I suggest you to look at: J Clin Microbiol 1997 Aug;35(8):2013-7 Flow cytometric detection of Cryptosporidium oocysts in human stool samples. Valdez LM, Dang H, Okhuysen PC, Chappell CL They have developed a method to identify crypto using human samples with a good reprodutibility. Good luck, Olindo
