Geoff,
We have sorted GFP expressing germ cells from 12.5 day old transgenic
embryos. The GFP expression was very high. The user sends you this
reference:
Development 126,1655-1664 (1999)
It may be a problem with your vector system. You do not mention if
you are looking at progenitor cells or entire bone marrow. Progenitor
cells are difficult to transduce (since they replicate seldom).
