Hi all, I am in the process of revising our reporting of leukemia/lymphoma immunophenotyping to (hopefully) exclude reporting of percentages. I am aware of at least one consensus document describing the necessary components of a clinical flow report. However, I'm unsure as to whether a list of antibodies performed is required on the final report (in lieu of percentages) for charging/reimbursement purposes. Labs that perform strictly technical services and leave the interpretation to the client must report differently than those labs who provide a full interpretation and charge the global fee? I would imagine that a phenotype of an abnormal population, at least, would be in order for a "purely" technical report. Any comments appreciated. In fact, sample reports from various labs will gladly be received by fax at 404-297-0444. I'll post a summary to the list of personal replies. Thanks, sharon Sharon F.
