Thiol labeling by flow

A graduate student is interested in labeling thiol groups in platelets by flow.
She would like to differentiate between intracellular and extracellular labeling.

A) Has anyone done this in any cell type (neither of us can find references)?
B) Is anyone familiar with using any of the following compounds by flow?
fluorescein iodoacetamide, fluorescein maleimide, Oregon Green 488 iodoacetamide, or tetramethyl rhodamine iodoacetamide.
C) As an alternate procedure, has anyone attempted staining intracellular
GPIIbIIIa to differentiate it from surface GPIIbIIIa using MoAbs by flow?
If yes to any of these, please send a quick note with information
regarding specific products, hints as to an appropriate protocol, or
what references may be available that we could look up. Please e-mail
directly to me if possible.

Thank you for your time.
