flow statistics - novice's questions

Dear Flow-ers,

I have some questions regarding statistics for flow cytometry.  How many
times do you repeat the measurements for one parameter?  For example, I
have to measure the Annexin V-FITC vs Propidium Iodide binding to U-937
cells after different time points of contact with different materials. How
many times would you analyse by flow cytometry the same time point for the
same material?  Would you do these repeated measurements at the same time,
or would you repeat them in separate days? How do you calculate the SD?
