A Name is a name

In the ever dynamic world of job classifications, my job is being reviewed.
Basically I run a core facility. We are a one man (in this case one
woman) operation. We offer all aspects of Flow Cytometry to a large
university. I am the primary operator of our instrumentation, but also
train individuals to run the instrumentation for their own purposes. I
provide tecnical support to investigators in order to help them develope
new protocols or get current protocols up and running. My supervisor is
interested in what similar job descriptions are titled.
I would appreciate responses to his question, particularly those jobs in
academia. If you would be kind enough to provide your job title, the
institution you are part of, and the salary grade level (not the dollar
amount) I would be able to satisfy my supervisor. I hope most of you can
relate to that challenge.
I will look forward to all responses.
	Thanks in advance,
	Joan Kalntisky
