for the CRC and other research laboratories based within Imperial College.
We have just installed a new dual laser FACS Vantage SE with a turbo
sorting facility.

>Duties include: providing an operator service for this new machine,
including maintenance of the instruments; assisting researchers in the
generation, display and analysis of results; maintenance and provision of
laboratory and machine components; introduction of new techniques
appropriate to the needs of the users.

>The Lab is a high-profile, multi-user facility and the candidate should
have experience in flow cytometry and experience in cell sorting would be a
definite advantage.  Current applications include: phenotyping, DNA and
cell cycle analysis, detection of apoptosis, chromosome sorting and
