Hi Jeffrey, For all my UV lasers I use beads from Polysciences (Fluoresbrite YG microspheres) which come in a variety of sizes from 0.05u up to about 100u. They are excited by a whole range of wavelengths from UV upwards (They are even OK for He-Ne 635nm excitation). For all UV work though I also like to use Hoechst stained HL60 cells for fine tweaking of the alignment as you should be able to get a very sharp G1 peak. hope this helps!
