FDP Fluoresceindiphosphate

Dear Flow Friends,

Who has experience with FDP by Molecular Probes? We have some problems with
it.

In the Molecular Probes Bible it is described as a yellow solid substance, a
page later it is descibed as colorless!

If we dilute it, it has a rich yellow color (from fluorescein!). But we want
to measure phosphatase reactions with it. If it is already fluorescent
without doing something with it, it can not be used?!

Any ideas?

Best regards from Germany
