The majority of the work will involve platelet flow cytometry. The type of work we currently do is outlined in our recent review article: Michelson AD. Flow cytometry: a clinical test of platelet function. Blood 87:4925-4936, 1996. The research associate will actively participate in, and be a co-author of, an interesting variety of state-of-the-art research studies of platelet function.
