Sheath buffers

Hello to all,

We have been using Criterion azide free isotonic saline
as a sheath buffer for several years in both the sorters and
analyzers. Recently, the operation was bought out and the buffer
is now manufactured at a new site. The latest lot seems toxic to
Jurkat cells, yet appears OK with a few other sorts we have done
with other cell types. Their QC person informed me they do not screen
the water for endotoxins... so, anyone else had any problems
with any cells exposed to recent lots of Criterion diluent 2?
We found that Jurkat cells lysed overnight when exposed to the buffer
for a period of time. I'm hoping this is an anomaly.
