Dako sell little filter things, some of which sit in the top of a tube for gravity filtration and another type fit on the end of a syringe. They are rather expensive but you can re-use the plastic case and replace the nylon mesh filter. They are color coded (I use the 50u green ones), they are called filicons and are very handy for filtering the lumps out of cell suspensions before sorting. There are also the little mesh baskets which fit in the top of 50ml falcon tubes, they have the Falcon name on are are marketed by BD, they are also color coded and come with different pore sizes.
