Hi, I have a question about FACSing epithelial cells. I cultivate epithelial cells from human thymus in MEM with 10 % FCS and I would like to look at them with FACS. As these cells are very adhesive, I have to use Trypsin to get them off the plates. This is probably the reason why the cells get very sticky and cannot be measured by FACS properly because of multi-cell aggregates. Therefore the cells cannot be sorted as well. My question is whether anybody has experience with FACSing epithelial cells and removing them from the plates without getting sticky. Thank you in advance Sincerely Steffi Gutsche My e-mail address: Stefanie.Gutsche@mail.uni-wuerzburg.de
