DAvid, Your questions regarding publications reporting cell cycle data bring up a subject near and dear to my heart. Having said that, I cannot offer you the stead-fast rules you are seeking - another indication of some of our problems with the wonderful world of cytometry. I would suggest that you take a look at the guidelines for DNA cytometry (Cytometry 14:472, 1993 and Breast Ca. Res. Treat. 28:61, 1993). I hope that these give you some ideas of what the experts in the area of clinical DNA ploidy/cell cycle analysis think is important for publications that use this technology.
