Hallo Bill, you did not say you had a problem with cells clumping while running them through the sorter, so they must have been running quite freely. Could the problem be mechanical? The 60psi could be too much for your cells, and they might have "exploded" due to the high pressure, which could also explain the low analysis and sort rate, and also the high abort rate. Were the sorted cells put into culture and did they survive? We are thinking of buying a high speed sorter, therefore I would be interested in the solution to your problem. Ann
