Full benefit package. DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide flow cytometry services for laboratories specializing in solid tumor research. Duties include: maintain, calibrating and operate a flow cytometer; perform periodic instrument maintenance; maintain accurate department records; and develop and maintain knowledge of advances in solid tumor flow cytometry and recommend improved laboratory techniques and equipment as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS: BS in physical or biological sciences or equivalent work experience. Familiarity or experience in optical systems, instrument analysis, computers or molecular and cell biology strongly desired. Minimum of two years of DNA flow cytometry with knowledge of appropriate quality control. Demonstrated skill in working with electronics, machinery, and an on going knowledge of experimental design associatedwith investigators projects involving clinical case studies. Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a strong interest in ongoing projects.
