There's a thread on the MacSciEng list that reports that there is a new
Worm that affects PowerMacs. Take a look at

for more details.
If you want to avoid possible infection by it, go to your Quicktime
Settings control panel, and from the autoplay section, disable CD-ROM
Autoplay.
You can only do this in quicktime 2.5 or higher, so you might need to
update your existing version, you can get the upgrade from
http://www.apple.com
