Please post the following positions on your job web site. thank you

DuPont is a world leader in research in the chemical and biological sciences,
including fundamental and applied research programs ranging from industrial
bioprocesses for the synthesis of chemicals and materials to genetically
improved crops and discovery of crop protection chemicals. We are now seeking
Ph.D. Principal Investigators, as well as M.S. and B.S. support staff to join
multidisciplinary teams of Life Scientists.

Microbial Physiology and Fermentation
The Bioprocess Development Center has a position available for a Principal
Investigator in microbial physiology and fermentation. The successful
candidate will join a team of enzymologists, molecular biologists and engineers
to develop and scale up fermentation processes for production of chemicals.
The candidate should have a Ph.D. in microbiology, biochemistry, biochemical
engineering or a related field, extensive knowledge of microbial metabolism and
experience in fermentation development and quantitative analysis of
fermentation. Please refer to: CRD98-2115A

Bioprocess Development
A position is available with the fermentation group of the Bioprocess
Development Center for someone with an interest in research and development of
fermentation processes for production of industrial chemicals. The person who
fills this position will be responsible for cultivation of microorganisms in
flasks and fermenters, fermenter set up and operation, and analysis of samples
and results. The candidate should have a B.S. degree in microbiology,
biochemistry or a related field, experience in aseptic techniques and in
cultivation of microorganisms, and familiarity with fermentation and related
instrumentation. Please refer to: CRD98-2126A

A second position is open in the Fermentation Research Facility of the
Bioprocess Development Center. The successful candidate who fills this job
will provide analytical support for fermentation research studies. The job
will include analyzing fermentation samples and communicating the results.
This position may require second shift operations. The candidate should have a
B.S. degree in chemistry or a related area with additional experience in
analytical chemistry, experience in operating and maintaining analytical
instruments, familiarity with computer databases and spreadsheet software, and
good general mechanical and electronic trouble shooting skills. Please refer
to: CRD98-2126B

Microbial and Industrial Biotechnology
The Microbial and Industrial Biotechnology group has two Principal Investigator
positions available for microbial physiologists. The focus of the group is to
discover the enzymes and the genes of new bacterial or fungal biochemical
pathways, as well as to engineer new organisms for industrial applications.
Candidates should have a Ph.D. in microbiology or a related field, a strong
knowledge of microbial diversity and metabolism, and extensive experience in
microbial biochemistry using either analytical tools such as HPLC, MS, NMR or
molecular genetics methods. Specialists in other forefront approaches to
microbiology such as genomics, population microbiology or image analysis will
also be considered. Please refer to: CRD98-2119

The Microbial and Industrial Biotechnology group has an opening for a support
scientist in the research area of identification of novel enzymes and pathways
for biocatalysis. Candidates should have a M.S. in microbiology, molecular
biology, biochemistry or a related field. Working knowledge of flow cytometry
and cell sorting, experience with robotics and automation, and computer
programming skills would be highly desirable. This position also requires
familiarity with aseptic technique, growth and maintenance of bacterial
cultures, molecular biology techniques, biochemistry and enzymology techniques
including operation of analytical instrumentation, light and fluorescent
microscopy, image analysis, and familiarity with microbial systematics and
phylogeny. Please refer to CRD98-2115B

Whether you are just starting your career or looking for growth opportunities,
we encourage you to apply. We are looking for highly motivated individuals who
can become members of our research teams to enhance both our success as well as
their own. You will enjoy our state-of-the-art Experimental Station and
Glasgow facilities. These positions offer a highly competitive salary and an
excellent benefits package. We are located in Wilmington and Glasgow, DE, an
area that offers an attractive lifestyle with easy access to all the cultural,
academic and recreational activities on the Eastern Seaboard. Qualified
candidates should send a resume and three references to: DuPont Human
Resources, CRD98#, 1007 Market Street, N12419, Wilmington, DE 19898. We are an
equal opportunity employer. Please make reference to the job code when
