Dear colleague, I would appreciate receiving a price-list of the flow cytometers your company has for sale. Also, could you clarify the following questions I have regarding the capability of the cytometers: - can the lamp in the cytometer be used with a variety of stains/fluorochromes or is it limited to use with DAPI or PI for example. - can one cytometer be compatible with both microbiological work (eg. cell counting/sorting) and plant cell DNA analysis (ploidy/aneuploidy analysis specifically). These cell sizes differ, is the aperature of the machine 'set' for one range of cell size or does a pre-filtering step (with filters of different diameters in microns) eliminate this concern. I would be grateful for a speedy reply because we are anxious to purchase and get 'set-up' as soon as possible.
