Bad Sorting

Claude;

In addition to Howard's comments, you might look a what happens to the
'plane' of light scattered by the stream when you are in the sorting mode.
If the plane broadens when you turn on the PZT drive, you might be getting
too much laser light into the detectors. As Howard suggested, lower the
PZT drive amplitude. Also, it might be necessary to move the flow cell
closer to the laser beam to find a sweet spot where the plane of light
scattered by the stream is not broadened so much that it leaks around the
obscuration bar.
