As per an earlier thread (pre-Attachment!) I'm in favor of the person 
posting the original question shouldering the responsibility for 
summarizing the posts, or in the event of a simpler question, choosing a 
helpful reply and forwarding that one to the list. Maybe Steve could make 
this part of his welcome message to new folks.

People probably wouldn't use an FAQ, then we'd be less patient and less 
responsive to questions - I know I would.
