     Position Description
     
     Responsible for the sale and account management of reagents to BDIS' 
     served markets.  Develop, maintain, and promote BDIS system sales.  
     Conduct routine calls on existing customer accounts to ensure customer 
     satisfaction and to uncover new business opportunities, where they 
     exist.  Responsible for the development of new customer base leads 
     including development and sales.  Work effectively with regional 
     counterpart in instrument sales and regional field service engineer to 
     identify and qualify BDIS system sales, while maintaining customer 
     satisfaction.  Gather market intelligence on customer attitudes, 
     preferences, market share and communicate this information by monthly 
     reports and Territorial Account Profile (TAP).
     
     Qualifications
     
     Typically requires a BS in a related scientific discipline and four 
     years of experience in clinical/research/government sales, or 
     equivalent combination of related education and experience.  
     Familiarity with clinical immunology, hematology and flow cytometry.  
     Effective interpersonal and written and oral communication skills.  
     Demonstrated ability to consistently meet or exceed sales quota.
