I have a software question that I hope someone can help me with:
I have a number of data files aquired in 1992 using SimulSET that I need to
further analyze and print for publication. I have reanalyzed them using
Lysis II but would appreciate the additional flexibility of CellQuest on my
MAC platform. I believe that FACS Convert is suppose to be able to convert
these files into a format which can be used in Cell Quest on the MAC.
I saved the files I needed to analyze on a diskette on my HP, found the FACS
C
onvert folder in the BD Applications folder on the MAC and placed the
diskette in the MAC floppy port. The MAC summarily rejected the diskette
and wanted to format it.
There is a "teach text" folder in the FACS Convert Folder but there is
nothing in the file; it is a blank sheet. I can find no documentation on
the use of FACS Convert.
Can someone give me some directions or fax me a procedure for the use of
FACS Convert? I need to get these files analyzed for a publication
deadline.
Any help you can provide me on these issues would be most appreciated.
Thanks for your help.
