DNA analysis of mollusks

Here's a strange one . . . has anyone (perhaps in the marine field) run
DNA histograms on clams?  Specifically, looking at 1) sperm, 2) oocytes, and
3) comparison to somatic cells.  I've been told they are 1N, 2N and 3N, resp.
True?  Also, we had trouble with EtOH  fixation . . . any advice will be 
welcome.
