A postdoctoral Research Fellow with qualifications in Biological Sciences or Immunology is required to work on a study of cell cycle dependent gene expression. Experience in cell culture and molecular biology is desirable, with particular expertise in flow cytometry and cell cycle analysis. The project is funded by the EC Framework IV Programme and aims to develop an optimised strategy for an efficient production of recombinant proteins by directed control of cell metabolism. This three years post will have a starting salary within the range 14,317-21,519 pounds per annum, depending on age, qualifications and experience.
