TO ALL FLOW CYTOMETRY USER GROUPS COORDINATORS
I am presently working on a history of the development of flow cytometry
and I am interested in collecting information on the growth and development
of FC user groups. This information is strictly for academic historical
work: I am in no way connected with commercial or marketing organisations.
It would be very helpful if the coordinator of each user group could send
me (e-mail is fine) the following information:
- name of the user group
- area served
- date of creation
- number of members (if possible by year, even if approximately)
- frequency of meetings
- any other information available on:
-- types of members of the user group, i.e., technicians, clinicians,
researchers, etc.
-- organisations served, i.e., hospitals, universities, etc.
-- main themes discussed at the meetings, i.e., qc, reagents, new techniques,
applications, etc.
