Alan- Our XL (about 3 mos old) came with a 90MHz Pentium with 16 MB RAM plus an extra 4 MB on the disk controller + an additional 4 MB on the data aquisition board (which they call a transputer). The drive is 1.2 GB. The graphics card is by Hercules and has 2 MB RAM. Monitor is a 17" Sony. All in all a very nice machine, aside from the already antiquated processor. It is more than adequate for the System II software which runs in a DOS environment. I am told that the next major revision will be in a Windows environment (although it is not clear which one). Regarding your second question, I will let you know next week when we attempt to install System II a conventionally equipped 66MHz 486. @dd Albert D. Donnenberg, PhD Associate Professor of Medicine
