I agree with M Kukuruga. This happens very rarely to us and usually in whole blood specimens. I have always felt that it was a wad of something going through overwhelming the threshold trigger. It is annoying and bad when it happens during a crucial specimen, but we abort and restart acquisition rather than trying to gate it out as percentages will be affected.
