DNA on Formalin fixed samples

Does anyone out in Flowland have any experience with doing DNA ploidy 
studies on formalin fixed tissue (not in paraffin)? I would 
appreciate any information anyone has on procedures, reliability of 
data, types of tissues which have been processed, etc. Thanks in
