> Concerning my work on rare human cells in the peripheral blood, I am looking > a specific antibody directed against human male cells. I have already heard > the human minor histocompatibility antigen H-Y specific for male cells. My > questions are: > - does anybody know something about an antibody against H-Y > - or do you know another antibody specific for male cells. There are three anti-H-Y hybridomas at the ATCC (HB-9070 to HB-9072). The antigen is mouse H-Y but the antibodies are said to cross-react with human. Don't know however if they can be used to stain cells. Since your'e working with a company please note that these are patent deposits. Hope this helps - Martin Dr. Martin R.
