Another way to strip cells very efficiently from IgG is hypotonic treatment. Take care to keep everything ice-cold and restore isotonicity after 30 sec. Do not extend hypotonic conditions any longer (this _is_ critical; use a stopwatch). Wash once with ice-cold medium. We used this procedure way back when Fc-receptors where still quantitated using EA-rosettes. Hope this helps- Martin R. Hadam Dr. Martin R.
